About the Vineyard
Located in the Columbia
Valley near Pasco, Sagemoor is one of the largest producing vineyards in
Washington. The vines are planted on southwest facing hillsides with
dramatic views of the Columbia River.
The region’s warm and sunny
days allow the grapes to ripen fully and cool nights keep the fruit acids
high, creating flavorful and well-balanced wines.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of crisp pear and
ripe apples. Full bodied and lush with balanced acidity. Flavors of dried
apricots, pineapple and a kiss of oak.
Food & Wine Pairing
Our 2007 Chardonnay would go
well with dishes like grilled salmon with basil pesto butter or crab and
pineapple ceviche with avocado pancakes.
